A straw poll on the opening day of Voice referendum early voting suggests the WA result may be closer than expected, with support for the proposed advisory body narrowly edging opposition to the concept.
The West Australian spoke to 100 voters as they exited the CBD pre-polling centre on Barrack Street, finding 51 were in favour of the Voice while 49 were against.
