Manawatū police seized more than 1000 cannabis plants, ranging from seedlings to mature plants, from a Feilding property in January.
A Feilding man was found with more than 1000 cannabis plants and $838,000 cash in Manawatū’s biggest cannabis bust.
His operation would have continued under the radar if not for a domestic argument about the lawns.
The man was sentenced in the Palmerston North District Court on Monday to four years and four months’ prison.
He was granted permanent name suppression to ensure other suppression orders related to the case are not breached.
