Police uncover '11 bags of cannabis and £150 hidden in magnetic box under car' in Kingston Upon ThamesPosted by On

An alleged drug dealer was snared after police found 11 bags of cannabis in a magnetic container strapped to the bottom of his car.

The suspect was spotted driving erratically on Coombe Lane West, Kingston Upon Thames, at around 6pm on November 12.

According to officers on the scene, the 22-year-old male was unable to provide a satisfactory account of why he was in the area.

They then performed a search under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, finding a mobile phone containing drug-related messages.



The man remains in custody while the investigation continues

A spokesperson for London Metropolitan Police said underneath the vehicle was a black metal magnetic box attached to the chassis. Inside were 11 bags of cannabis and £150 cash.

The man, aged 22, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B.

He remains in custody while the investigation continues.
